A CAREER BUILT ON CONSISTENCY

From his early days as an 11-year-old player to his participation in Senior Nationals through 2000, he repeatedly stood on the medal podium.

His record includes achievements in Team Championship, Singles and Doubles, demonstrating his ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team. His particularly strong record in Doubles is visible throughout his Junior and early Senior career, with repeated Gold Medal performances.

After a long and distinguished playing career, the record notes that he formally concluded his active player career and retired.

From an 11-year-old beginner to a seasoned National-level player, D. Shankar’s journey represents dedication, perseverance and a lasting commitment to Tennikoit.
